Most artificial greenery was engineered for interiors, and it shows the first summer it spends outside — the green fades to a chalky gray, the frame streaks with rust, and the whole wall reads as plastic by year two. Because the greenery is synthetic, the entire irrigation problem disappears. The UV-stable PE/LDPE foliage is formulated to resist photo-degradation, holding a Delta E color shift under 1.0 across 5,000 hours of exposure. A frame that won't rust or streak
The Vallum aluminum substrate is salt-spray tested to ASTM B117, the standard method for corrosion resistance in coastal and exterior environments. Aluminum will not rust, and the tested finish resists the pitting and white-streak staining that ruins painted-steel frames near the ocean.
